The winter problem

Ionian winters are wetter and windier than most owners expect, and the damage that matters is rarely dramatic. It is a blocked gutter that saturates a wall over three months, a pool left chemically unbalanced until the plaster is pitted, a shutter that works loose in November and lets weather into a bedroom until March. None of it announces itself. All of it is expensive by the time somebody notices in spring.

An owner who visits in June and September has a six-month blind spot, and the person best placed to fill it is not a neighbour doing a favour.

We take no commission, markup or referral fee from any contractor working on your property. You see their invoice, not ours with theirs inside it. Our incentive is for the work to be done correctly the first time, because we are the ones who have to go back if it isn’t.
