What most villa owners actually have

An alarm connected to nothing in particular, a gate that a determined person could open, and a neighbour with a key. In the Ionian this is often genuinely sufficient — these are safe islands and the risk profile is low. But “usually fine” is a different standard from the one most owners of significant property apply everywhere else in their lives, and the gap tends to become apparent at the worst possible moment.

An assessment first, not a package

We begin with an assessment of the property carried out by someone with a genuine operational background — approach routes, sightlines, boundary integrity, lighting, the honest state of the existing systems, and how the property behaves when it is empty for four months. The output is a written report with prioritised recommendations, not a quotation for equipment.

Many owners implement two or three items from that report and need nothing further. That is a legitimate outcome and we will say so.

What we will not do

We do not sell security equipment and take no commission from any provider we introduce. We will not recommend a system more elaborate than the assessment justifies, and where an owner’s existing arrangements are adequate we say so rather than manufacturing a reason to change them.
